Covenant HealthCare is seeking a fellowship trained, BC/BE, orthopaedic joint surgeon to work full time alongside a 10-physician team in Saginaw, MI. As an Arthroplasty specialist at Covenant Healthcare, you will play a pivotal role in providing specialized orthopedic care focused on primary and revision joint reconstruction, replacement. This position will also be working with joint infections. Your expertise in diagnosing, treating, and surgically managing complex joint conditions will contribute to improving the quality of life for patients seeking relief from joint-related ailments. This position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic healthcare environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care and contribute to advancements in orthopedic surgery.

Highlights of the opportunity:

  • Join an established practice with 10 other surgeons. Supporting specialties include trauma, sports, pediatrics, hand (plastic surgery), podiatry.
  • Competitive base salary with RVU-based incentive compensation plan.

  • Call Responsibility equates to approximately 4 calls per month

Responsibilities:

  • Wide range of orthopedic joint surgeries, including
    • Total Hip Arthroplasty
    • Total Knee Arthroplasty
    • Revision Joint Surgery
    • Prosthetic joint infections
  • Provide comprehensive pre- and post-operative care to patients
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide a seamless patient experience

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction
  • Strong clinical skills and judgment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to providing excellent patient care
