OverviewSeeking a senior investment banker with 15+ years of investment banking experience for a full-time in-person position at a highly-successful boutique investment banking firm in expansion mode in Greenwich, Connecticut. The firm specializes in asset finance for large corporate clients ($40 billion+ in annual revenue) and has recently expanded into renewable energy. The ideal candidate would have a min. of 15-years of customer facing investment banking experience with significant demonstrable success in “rain making” origination role.It is extremely unusual for a boutique investment banking firm to provide capital raising services to large corporates. This firm has developed proprietary approaches in financing transactions that are unique and compelling to certain large issuers.The candidate with have in-depth understanding of capital raising/capital markets, leasing and US GAAP and IFRS accounting. He/she will have significant experience in mentoring and supervising subordinates and will be responsible for running the firm when the Managing Director is out of office for an extended period. The candidate will enjoy travelling to domestic and international clients with a high degree of frequency; our existing/target clients are in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia. Ideally, the individual will bring significant relationships with treasury departments of multiple Fortune Global 500 companies. Responsibilities Mentor and supervise subordinates; run the firm when the Managing Director is out for an extended period. Originating capital raises and managing client relationships; travel domestically and internationally (North America, Europe, Asia, Australia). Develop relationships with treasury departments of Fortune Global 500 companies. Manage and participate in financing transactions for high-value assets in asset finance and renewable energy sectors. Originate $10 million+ in annual fee revenue, with support from the team. Qualifications 15+ years of senior-level investment banking experience; experience from an investment bank preferred. FP&A or IR experience would also be valuable. In-depth understanding of capital raising/capital markets, leasing and US GAAP and IFRS accounting. Significant experience in mentoring and supervising subordinates. Enjoy client sales/customer development and thrive in a high-pressure environment. Willingness to travel to domestic and international clients. Compensation & Benefits A base salary range is $300k–$525k per year, plus an annual discretionary bonus based on performance, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, retirement plan, Greenwich Water Club membership, and a paid 3-month sabbatical every 6 years. FINRA Licenses The position requires appropriate FINRA licenses, such as Series 7, Series 79, Series 66, etc. The firm will facilitate obtaining such licenses for candidates that do not possess them.
