Join Emory Healthcare (EHC) as a Clinical Pharmacist I, practicing as a pharmacy generalist in one or more patient care areas. In addition to direct patient care activities, this position is responsible for participating in departmental or institutional quality, safety, and cost-saving initiatives.Responsibilities include ensuring appropriate therapy and institutional outcomes, providing patient-centered care, reviewing and processing orders accurately, preventing and resolving drug-related problems, and documenting clinical activities and adverse drug events. The Clinical Pharmacist I will also participate in coordination of transitions of care, maintain clinical competency, and serve as a preceptor for pharmacy students or provide educational in-services.Minimum qualifications include one year of relevant experience, Pharmacy Specialty Board certification or ASHP-Accredited Post Graduate Year 1 pharmacy residency preferred, active Georgia Pharmacist license, and Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
