QA Manager - Owensboro, KY - Relocation Assistance Avaliable 

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead and manage QA programs at our Owensboro facility. This role is crucial for ensuring that our operations meet all company, customer, and regulatory standards. If you are passionate about food safety and quality control, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee and implement QA policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant standards.
  • Conduct inspections and audits throughout the production process, including raw materials, packaging, and distribution.
  • Collaborate with Plant Manager and Sanitation Manager to maintain high standards of facility cleanliness and safety.
  • Participate in customer audits and SQF certifications as needed.
  • Lead and support your team in achieving departmental and company goals.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or a related field preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in quality control within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, SSOP, SOP, USDA, and FDA standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.

Compensation:


  • $80k-$100k annually, based on experience.
  • Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.
