HNI Healthcare and Valley Regional Medical Center have partnered on a new Internal Medicine residency program affiliated with the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. The program which will begin on July 1, 2024, are currently seeking additional BE/BC physicians for Core Faculty/Associate Professor roles; in addition to daily hospital medicine rounding. If you are looking to transition positions or considering a relocation to sunny southern Texas, please reach out for consideration. These are full time W2 employed positions.

This opportunity features

  • Licensed 214 bed, Level III trauma facility
  • 7 on / 7 off schedule
  • Daytime schedule - 6 am - 6 pm
  • 3-4 physicians & 1 NP rounding days; 1 physician rounding nights
  • Closed ICU w/ Intensivist coverage
  • Subspecialty support
  • EMR- Meditech

  • Brownsville, Texas (Rio Grande Valley) - 30 miles from South Padre Island Beach
