Gundersen Health System is seeking a BC/BE OBGYN physician to provide care at our Tomah clinic. The Tomah clinic is part of our regional healthcare system providing care close to home for our patients.
Practice highlights:
- Join a practice with a well-established MD and Midwife
- Schedule will be made up of clinic, OR, and equitable call schedule
o Call is every other week- 1 week on, 1 week off- translates to 1:2 call schedule; c- sections for GHS is done by OBGYN.
- Average of 15-20 patients seen in the clinic daily
- OR time and call will be done at Tomah Health connected to the clinic; some of the procedures
- Hysterectomies
- Salpingectomies
- C-sections
- D & C’s
- Hysteroscopies
- Endometrial ablations with Novasure
- Tubal Ligations
- Loop Electrocautery Excisional Procedure
- Approximately 300 deliveries by department per year
- We offer the latest in technology, including daVinci Robot system to provide world-class care.
- 4 L&D beds 2 with birthing tubs and 2 that are considered labor/delivery/postpartum
- 4 additional postpartum rooms and those 4 have queen size beds.
- Level 1 nursery
- General surgeon is backup and assists in emergencies
