Morristown, NJ Full time 10 to 15 Years 01 Position SAP S/4HANA, Accounting Job Description We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced SAP Actual Costing Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate is responsible for implementing and managing the SAP Actual Costing/Material Ledger functionality to enable accurate cost calculations, margin analysis, and inventory valuation. This role involves collaborating with finance, supply chain, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of actual costing processes with other SAP modules like SAP S/4HANA, SAP CO (Controlling), and SAP MM (Materials Management). Department SAP Skills Required SAP CO-PC (Product Costing), SAP CO-ML (Material Ledger), SAP FI, CO, MM, and PP modules, SAP ECC or S/4HANA Key Responsibilities Design, configure, and implement SAP Actual Costing/Material Ledger functionalities in alignment with business requirements. Set up actual costing processes, including material price determination, cost component structures, and inventory valuation methods. Integrate actual costing with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP FI, CO, MM, and PP). Apply and customize Tosca-related automation frameworks to optimize testing processes. Provide accurate cost data for financial reporting, including variance analysis and profit margin analysis. Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities related to actual costing. Collaborate with finance teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Qualifications 5+ years of experience with SAP Controlling (CO) and Material Ledger functionalities. Hands‑on experience with SAP Actual Costing in SAP ECC or S/4HANA environments. Strong knowledge of product costing, cost center accounting, and inventory valuation. Proficiency in SAP CO-PC (Product Costing) and SAP CO-ML (Material Ledger). Familiarity with integration points between SAP FI, CO, MM, and PP modules. Understanding of costing-based profitability analysis (CO-PA). Strong SAP configuration skills and ability to create functional specifications for custom developments.
