Position Surgical Technologist - Full Time at Northwest Orthopaedic Specialists Description Northwest Orthopaedic Specialists is looking for a Surgical Technologist to join our Ambulatory Surgery Center. NWOS is closed on all weekends and major holidays. No night shifts or on‑call. Essential Functions Prepares instruments and supplies for each case efficiently and effectively. Anticipates surgeon needs by promptly providing correct items as needed. Utilizes preference cards and surgery schedule prior to each case. Uses equipment and supplies in a cost‑effective manner. Maintains the integrity of supplies, equipment and instruments, and reports concerns appropriately. Assists with prompt turnover and start of surgical cases to promote productivity and efficient case flow. Performs surgical scrub, gowns and gloves for self and others using aseptic technique. Conducts sponge and needle counts with RN per procedure. Distributes and disposes of biohazards appropriately and practices standard precautions at all times. Runs autoclave and documents results according to department policies and procedures. Qualifications Washington State Surgical Tech Registration. BLS certification. Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Program. Ability to problem‑solve and think critically in high‑stress situations. Previous Surgical Technologist experience preferred but not required. Shift Day shift, 4–10 hrs. No weekends, nights, on‑call, or major holidays. Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance.
