Electrical Asembler

Aerotek is hiring Electrical and Electronic assemblers to work with a large manufacturing client in the greater Baltimore Area. Candidates can come from electrical or electronic assembly in manufacturing, or from the electrical space working as an electrician. This is a first shift role that will be working 5 10's Monday-Friday, pay rate is commensurate with experience.

**Job Description:**

Day to day, candidates will work with blueprints and diagrams to assemble parts that control electrical currents in mechanical apparatus.

Their responsibilities may include:

+ Inspecting: Checking completed units for imperfections and ensuring they meet specifications

+ Testing: Adjusting units to meet tolerances and customer requirements

+ Assembling: Positioning, aligning, and fastening parts and units using hand and power tools

+ Connecting: Wiring, tubing, and cables, and connecting supply lines to production equipment

+ Measuring: Using precision tools to verify parts are the correct dimensions

+ Documenting: Recording problems and initiating solutions for product, process, and quality systems

+ Electrical wiring and outfitting

+ Ability to follow wiring diagrams and schematics.

+ Must be able to know the difference between wire sizes (4g vs. 6g).

+ Must be able to work up to 10 hours of overtime each week, if possible.

+ Must be willing to work in a team-oriented environment where feedback is welcomed.
