Our client, a leading distributor of high-performance engineering plastic shapes, is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be part of a dynamic team supporting various operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization. A minimum of 2 years' experience is needed to be considered for this role. All shifts are open Job Title: CNC Machinist (Direct Hire) Location: Orchard Park, NY Pay Range: $25 - $32/hr 2nd shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM–2:30 AM What's the Job? Set up, program, and operate CNC machines. Plan and perform machine operations utilizing numerical controlled machines, including mills, lathes, routers, and/or saws to machine plastic or metal work pieces to specifications. Interpret complicated drawings, program sheets, instructions, and process sheets to determine work to be done. Perform diversified operations on numerical controlled machines. Conduct a variety of inspection and gauging operations to ensure maintenance of quality standards and specifications. What's Needed? A minimum of 2 years experience as a CNC Machinist. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Experience with quality control and inspection processes.
