Maintenance Technician

Our Client, a leader in commercial real estate and facilities/asset management is seeking to add a *Maintenance* *Technician* to its team. This role will work in *Marinette, WI *and *works Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4pm. *This is a *contract to hire role* that pays *$22-24 per hour.* Upon conversion this role offers increased compensation,an annual bonus plan, and a strong benefit package.

*Responsibilities:*

* Respond to work orders promptly and efficiently, completing tasks in a timely manner.
* Manage work orders efficiently using the designated system.
* Conduct repairs and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, including filter replacement, greasing, and belt checking.
* Perform various building maintenance tasks such as fixing doors, patching walls, painting, and sheet metal work.
* Handle light plumbing tasks as needed.
* Replace light bulbs and fixtures, ensuring proper functioning.
* Conduct compressor checks to ensure proper functioning.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
* Assist with light administrative tasks and training as required.
* Demonstrate basic computer skills for work order management and documentation purposes.
* Adhere to safety guidelines outlined by the client and maintain a safe working environment.

*Requirements:*
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
* Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in building maintenance.
* Ability to work across multiple sites within close proximity, requiring reliable transportation to commute between campuses.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

*Nice to Have:*
* EPA Certification for handling refrigerants.
* Experience with low voltage systems.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
