Base pay range $140,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr Interesting opportunity for Software Engineers in Palo Alto/Bay Area The Opportunity We are working exclusively with an innovative aerospace technology company based in Palo Alto developing advanced flight systems and next-generation aircraft platforms. They are seeking a Flight Software Engineer to join their growing engineering team. In this role: You will design and implement flight software for real-time, safety-critical systems. You will collaborate with guidance, navigation, and control teams to integrate software across avionics and hardware platforms. You will contribute to system validation, testing, and performance optimization to ensure flight-ready reliability. You have: Strong experience programming in C/C++ for embedded or real-time applications. Familiarity with avionics systems, embedded Linux or RTOS environments, and communication protocols such as CAN, UART, or Ethernet. A background in computer science, electrical engineering, or aerospace engineering with hands-on experience in flight software or embedded systems.
