Key Responsibilities for a CT Scan Technologist:

Operate CT equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Review physician orders and patient history to ensure appropriate procedures are performed.
Collaborate with radiologists to capture high-quality images for accurate interpretation.
Schedule Options: M-F / 3:00 PM to 11:0 PM (5x8s) or M-Thurs / 7:30 P-6:00A (4x10s) or Sat, Sun, Mon / 7 AM to 7:30 PM.
Maintain thorough records of imaging procedures and patient data within the hospital's electronic systems.
Monitor patients during procedures, offering clear instructions and assistance as needed.
Adhere to safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure and comply with regulatory standards.
Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting CT equipment to ensure smooth operation.

CT Scan Technologist Qualifications:

Current Texas licensure as a Radiologic Technologist required.
Prior CAT scan experience is required,
ARRT Certification in CT (Computed Tomography) required.
