The Boise Veterans Affairs Medical Center seeks a BC/BE internal medicine physician to join our growing, collegial, and multi-disciplinary team in Caldwell, ID (located 30 minutes from Boise) and focused on providing exceptional care to our veterans. Opportunity information:
- Provide primary care for a panel of patients primarily via in person care, with some virtual care.
- Provider is supported by an RN, an LPN/MA and a receptionist dedicated to their panel.
- Patients are seen in 30 min appointments, 60 min for patients new to the VA.
- Patient volume is 12 patients per 8-hour day, two of which are reserved for same day.
- Work with 5-6 other providers (MDs, DOs, NPs, and PAs) in a clinic setting run by a Medical Director and Clinic Manager.
- Clinic is supported by dedicated clinical pharmacist and behavioral health staff.
- Be part of an institution that is a teaching and research facility.
- Practice in a new facility that also offers physical therapy, optometry as well as a few other specialties

The Boise Veterans Affairs Medical Center, part of the Northwest Health Network, is consistently ranked as one of the best VA hospitals in the nation. Our state-of-the-art medical main campus boasts a picturesque setting, ideally located in the heart of the desired north end, bordering downtown, and nestled amongst sprawling foothills. The campus features modern operating rooms, a dedicated intensive care unit, and well- equipped inpatient medicine and surgical wards to handle the full breadth of patient care needs. We have a comprehensive psychiatric ward and a full host of outpatient clinics spanning all major medical specialties. We also provide health care services at four other community-based outpatient clinics in Idaho; Mountain Home, Salmon, and Twin Falls, and to also include a clinic in Burns, Oregon.
