Pediatrician

South Louisiana Medical Associates seeks to hire a Pediatrician to work in Houma, LA. Duties include, but are not limited to: Direct patient care; supervise medical residents and medical students; maintain both inpatient and outpatient pediatric clinic responsibilities; participate in scholarly activities; participate in teaching conferences and with mutually agreeable hospital committees; diagnose, treat and help prevent diseases and injuries in children; provide care only for non-adult patients with a wide range of pediatric health deviations like minor illnesses, acute and chronic health problems, and growth and development concerns; perform and/or interpret diagnostic tests; and advise patients, parents or guardians concerning health status, plan of care, diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention.
