Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a crucial role in assisting surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures. Your attention to detail, knowledge of medical terminology, and ability to provide excellent patient care will be essential in this role.

Duties:
- Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are available
- Assist the surgical team by handing them instruments and supplies during procedures
- Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room by following proper sterilization techniques and infection control protocols
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and proactively provide assistance as required
- Prepare patients for surgery by cleaning and disinfecting incision sites
- Monitor patients' vital signs during surgery and report any changes or concerns to the surgical team
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Document all procedures, supplies used, and patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system (Epic)

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program preferred
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficient in medical terminology and understanding of surgical procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with the surgical team, patients, and other healthcare professionals
- Experience working in a variety of clinical settings such as ambulatory surgery centers, acute care hospitals
