Join to apply for the Pediatric Neurology role at Health eCareersValley Health System, in affiliation with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, is actively recruiting a Pediatric Neurologist to join the team as Medical Director of the Pediatric Neurology Program.Position SummaryThe Pediatric Neurology program provides consultation and other professional services as part of the Valley Medical Group and Valley‑Mount Sinai Children’s Health Service line in northern New Jersey. This provider will lead clinical expertise in pediatric neurology care at Valley Hospital and the Kireker Center for Child Development (KCCD). In addition, the clinician will provide consultation and education for clinicians, clients, community groups, and support broader community‑based services for special needs populations. The physician will participate in Department of Pediatrics activities, KCCD, and hospital committee meetings as appropriate, and provide outreach to schools, childcare programs, parent groups, and other community programs. Clinical requirements include Board‑Certification in Pediatric Neurology, the ability to work collaboratively with PM&R and Developmental Pediatrics teams, and a helping voice in building the program. Experience in EEG interpretation is a plus.In this position, you will be part of a larger multi‑specialty group, including providers in Endocrinology, Developmental Pediatrics, Gastroenterology, Nutrition, Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine, Food Allergy, Cardiology, and PM&R, all in collaboration with Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital and the Mount Sinai Health System.
