Here at Parkview Animal Hospital, we take pride in delivering personalized, compassionate care to our patients and their guardians. Our straightforward and honest relationships with our clients have built a culture of loyal clients who are a pleasure to work with. We are two doctor, privately owned practice. We believe in maintaining a healthy work-life balance, which is why we offer flexible scheduling. We truly have a great team and we are looking for a technician that will only add to our existing dynamic.

*What You’ll Be Working On*

* Assist veterinarians with exams, vaccinations, treatments, surgery, dentistry, and animal restraint
* Administer anesthetics or sedatives under the direction of a veterinarian
* Surgical prep, pre- and post-op care, venipuncture, and IV catheter placement
* Taking radiographic images and performing sample collections, including cystocentesis
* Microscope slide preparation and reading for cytology, blood smears
* Obtain and document patient medical information
* Build and maintain client relationships
* Maintain a high level of client communication and patient care - verbal and written.

*Qualifications*

* Minimum of 2 years of experience in veterinary medicine required
* Experience with animal restraint, general animal care, surgical experience, pre- and post-op care, dental, and radiographic imaging required
* Flexible Scheduling - Rotating Evening Shifts Required
* Demonstrated passion for patient care and client service
* Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
* Proficient with computers, able to learn required software programs
* Team player with the ability to work independently to meet goals and objectives
* Strong commitment to ethics and integrity
* Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and continuous learning
* Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
