Welcome to Our Team We are excited to welcome a new Gastroenterologist to join our team of two other Gastroenterologists and two Nurse Practitioners. This position offers a mix of outpatient and operative work conveniently located adjacent to the hospital. We are looking for a Generalist, but ERCP or EUS skills are a plus. Weekday inpatient consults will initially be handled by an APRN, and you will only need to go to the hospital if requested. Our shared call schedule is 1:3, providing a good work-life balance. Responsibilities: Perform outpatient and operative gastroenterology procedures Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and other healthcare professionals Participate in shared call schedule Qualifications: Board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology Ability to work well in a team environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Benefits: Full benefits package Competitive compensation Excellent work environment The coastal location, thriving downtown, historic neighborhoods, and Bowdoin College campus make this part of Maine a very desirable place to live, with an excellent school system.
