Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights and recommendations. Experience building and managing budgets, forecasts, and financial models. Advanced Excel (or Google Sheets) modeling skills and strong systems expertise across FP&A and ERP platforms (e.g., Workday Adaptive, Sage Intacct, NetSuite). Experience partnering across functions and communicating financial information to non‑financial stakeholders. Strong project management, organization, and communication skills. Familiarity with GAAP, particularly revenue recognition (ASC 606) and fund accounting principles (ASC 958) as applicable to nonprofit organizations. Self‑starter who thrives in a dynamic, evolving environment. Team player with a collaborative approach to problem‑solving. Flexible, curious, and eager to learn—comfortable adapting as processes and systems evolve. Continuous improvement mindset—always seeking to make systems, processes, and outputs better. Passion for Khan Academy’s mission to provide a free, world‑class education for anyone, anywhere. Bonus Points If You Have Experience with grant‑funded or donor‑supported organizations.
