Description
We make good investments in our people, properties, tenants, and company.
Part time position approximately 12-15 hours per week.
CCI is a nationwide full-service real estate platform focused on acquisition, asset management, property management, and development. Our current property portfolio consists of around 8,000 apartments and townhomes, with a focus on providing affordable housing for seniors and persons with disabilities. We also own and manage a diverse and growing portfolio of other real estate assets covering traditional multifamily rentals, office, and light industrial uses. CCI employs around 400 Teammates in 30 states across the country - and we're growing
As we enter the next phase of our company's growth, we're looking for Teammates who can help us optimize our existing management platform (systems, tools, and processes), better leverage technology, and maintain our reputation for excellence. We are looking for ambitious self-starters who aren't afraid to dig in. We value excellent communication and collaboration, and we reward those who challenge the status quo to find better ways of doing things. We believe that people learn best by doing - so although we offer a full range of classroom learning and structured training paths, we prioritize hands-on experience and self-directed development.
About the Role:
As a Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and cleaning our facility's equipment, buildings, and grounds as scheduled to preserve structural integrity and overall upkeep. You'll need solid maintenance knowledge and skills, with experience in property management being helpful.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the business while advancing your career. We seek individuals who aspire to cultivate a fulfilling, long-term career in property management, where they can actively contribute to improving people's lives. If you're passionate about your work, eager to take on challenges, and committed to delivering exceptional service to our residents, we invite you to apply
What you will be doing?
- Perform daily inspections of grounds, parking lots, and common areas.
- Repair minor issues in buildings and foundations, including roofs, ceilings, walls, floors, basements, and mechanical systems.
- Immediately report any health, safety, or hazardous situations to management.
- Monitor maintenance supplies and procure them when necessary.
- Utilize a range of skills including carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, and more to conduct maintenance, repairs, and preventative measures.
We'd like to hear from you if you have:
- At least three years of maintenance technician experience
- Knowledge of basic maintenance (painting, carpentry, drywall, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Computer literacy is required.
- An HVAC certificate is helpful but not required.
Why Join Us:
CCI's approach is simple: we invest in our people. Our culture emphasizes long-term career development. We provide continuous job-specific training, resources, and support to maximize our Teammates' learning opportunities, making them our most valuable asset.
