Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift

Phillips Staffing is now hiring for a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician for a leading manufacturer located in Liberty, SC The Maintenance Technician role is primarily responsible for providing routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance for manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities:

* Assist in the die cast machine lubrication process
* Implements a preventive and routine maintenance program on all equipment.
* Provide equipment filter changes
* Understand the function of all die tooling micro switches on die cast tooling and be capable of checking
* these devices and wiring.
* Understand die cast machine cycles, operation and programming of auto ladles and reciprocators
* Furnace operation including fabrication of thermocouples
* Provide building and grounds maintenance
* Prepares and maintains all logs, charts, and other required documents for each piece of equipment.
* Operates all material handling equipment required.
* Perform repairs on equipment as required.
* Perform building and equipment audits
* Coordinate and track preventative maintenance
* Initiate and schedule repairs
* Develop and implement continuous improvements
* Maintain and track supplies

Requirements:

* 1-2 years’ experience in one or more of the following categories: electrical, mechanical, hydraulics and welding
* Good communication and organizational skills.
* Team player with good attendance history
* Able to work without close supervision and ability to multi-task.
* Requires basic reading, writing and math skills.
