This role is focused on developing a project and deeply involving technical requirements in the development as well as issue resolving. Customer & Tier companies communication and development management to ensure strength and innovation in the LG automotive business. This role is directly influencing the integration project development across all LG and automotive manufactures and requires a confidant with identifying problems, communicating the concerns and driving for closure in order to deliver the best development quality within the time frame with build trust while demonstrating excellent features implementation and problem resolving skills. This role must play nice with others, have a humble service mindset, and be a results‑driven self‑motivator.Position Location: Aliso Viejo, CAResponsibilitiesSupport to resolve technical issuesSupport to identify and manage all feature issues and publish a weekly reportResolve software & hardware issues and communicate the customer to handle the issuesSupport Sr. engineers, such as R&D engineers, validation engineers and their respective teamCommunicate with LGE HQ cross‑functional teamsAnalyze issues and supporting development are main priority as well as being the main contact point of customer communicationReview with the software/hardware Sr. engineer's for decisions related to analysis (Ex: analysis result, FMEA, impact of quality, etc.)Follow customer's acceptance process on top of the LG internal development processAccumulate work experiences with knowledge contributing to increasing VS business across the car manufacturers as a long‑term strategyOther duties as assignedRequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electric Engineering, or a related field0+ years or equivalent experience in automotive component development or testing3+ years or equivalent engineering experience with developing and/or testing an automotive component5+ years or equivalent experience delivering high‑quality products or services to automotive companiesInterest and prior experience in automotive infotainmentPrior experience and/or knowledge of: Software development (CS design process including C, C++, QNX, Linux, Cinemo, XML, HMI, CAN network, embedded system) Hardware development skill (EE design process including schematic design, board layout, circuit analysis) Work across multiple disciplines (SiriusXM, Carplay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, WiFi, Audio sound control, RF, OTA, VIF, CPU&Micom, Network, Hardware, testing) MS office software applicationsStrong commitment to quality and attention to detailDesire to learn constantly and dive into new areas with unfamiliar technologiesPassion for technology and problem solvingTravel/Physical RequirementsUp to 30% travel, including out‑of‑state and international travel as requiredAbility to: Sit/drive and/or test in a vehicle for up to 8 hours a day, up to 4 hours at a timeAbility to lift/carry/setup up to 30lb samples, workstations, benches, box and toolsInteract with display/center controller/steering wheel while driving or while stationary testingPreferredPrior experience with: Complex systems IATF 16949 certification APQP&FMEA certificationBilingual in both Korean & EnglishRecruiting Range$57,787 – $77,050 USDBenefits Offered Full‑Time EmployeesNo‑cost employee premiums for you and your eligible dependents for competitive medical, dental, vision and prescription benefits.Auto enrollment with immediate vesting of competitive company matching contributions in a 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with several investment options.Generous Paid Time Off program that includes company holidays and a combined bank of paid sick and vacation time.Performance based Short‑Term Incentives (varies by role).Access to confidential mental health resources to help you and your loved ones improve your quality of life.
