This is an opportunity to practice advanced, high-quality cardiac care while living in one of the most desirable coastal areas on the East Coast.Position OverviewAs an Interventional Cardiologist with Bon Secours, youll serve patients across two modern practice locations Harbour View/North Suffolk and Norfolk/Ghent and play a vital role in providing comprehensive cardiovascular care to an expanding patient base.Youll work within a collegial, multidisciplinary team known for clinical excellence, compassionate care, and a strong culture of collaboration.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide STEMI coverage and interventional call as part of a collaborative, well-balanced rotation (currently 1:5).Perform hospital rounding and manage ambulatory clinic patients with support from experienced APCs, CMAs, and PSRs.Interpret and supervise cardiac testing, including echocardiograms, nuclear stress tests, and EKGs.Perform Coronary and Peripheral Vascular Interventions, including High-Risk PCI and Impella-supported cases.Participate in Structural Heart proceduresCollaborate closely with a dedicated pacemaker clinic and PT/INR ancillary services.Engage in teaching and mentorship opportunities with medical students and residentsQualificationsFellowship-trained Interventional Cardiologist with Nuclear and Echocardiography reading experience.Proficient in Cardiac Cath and non-invasive vascular interpretation.Preferably 3-5+ years of post-fellowship experience in a high-volume practice - fellows are welcome to applyCompletion of a U.S.-based residency program required.Board Eligible/Board Certified (ABIM/ABMS) in Interventional and General Cardiology.Possess or Eligible for an unrestricted Virginia medical license.Must be authorized to work in the U.S.Schedule & Practice DetailsMonday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PMAverage daily census: ~25 adult/geriatric patientsCall: 1:5 rotation with defined STEMI coverage (Weekdays 5:00 PM-7:00 AM; Weekends Fri 5:00 PM-Mon 7:00 AM)Electronic Medical Record: EPIC (with MyChart for virtual care)Strong team support including experienced advanced practice clinicians, clinical staff, and practice management.Mentorship from senior cardiologists and leadership opportunities as the program grows.Compensation & BenefitsBon Secours offers a competitive compensation package designed to support your career and personal wellbeing, including:Highly competitive base salary with productivity and quality incentivesSign-on bonus and medical school debt assistanceRelocation reimbursementComprehensive benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription, and FSACompany-paid life, short-term, and long-term disability insuranceMalpractice coverage with tail provided35 days of frontloaded Allowed Time Off (ATO)403(b) retirement plan with employer match, plus 457(f) supplemental executive planWellness programs and continuing education supportWhy Bon Secours & Hampton Roads?The Hampton Roads / Tidewater region of Coastal Virginia offers the perfect balance of professional fulfillment and personal enjoyment.
