Plumber

EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for a Plumber in our Hughes Network Systems division to assist engineers with the preventative and corrective maintenance of plumbing systems. This position will be located in our Germantown, MD office.
Responsibilities:
* Assist workers engaged in installation, repair, and service of plumbing systems.
* Ability to cut, bend, fit, thread and join piping and tubing practices.
* Manage temperature controls systems.
* Perform general facilities maintenance tasks as needed.
* Travel within the Germantown/Gaithersburg area to support our three (3) facilities in Montgomery County
* Be "On-Call" which rotates for one (1) week approximately every four (4) weeks
Requirements:
* High School Diploma
* CFC Certified
* 3-5 years of experience with knowledge of troubleshooting, service, and repair techniques to commercial plumbing fixtures
* Current valid driver's license.
Essential Qualifications:
* Must have the ability to climb ladders
* Lift up to 60 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Journeyman Plumbing License highly preferred.
* Service truck experience highly preferred
