RiverStone Health serves the Yellowstone County community and south-central Montana and seeks a Chief People Officer to lead HR and people strategies.ResponsibilitiesSenior Leadership (35%): Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization’s mission and make RiverStone Health an Employer of Choice; collaborate with executive leadership to shape organizational culture and strategy; oversee talent acquisition and retention; promote a safe, supported, and inspiring work environment; compile and share HR metrics; update organizational development and training programs; participate in budget conversations regarding staffing, compensation, and benefits.HR Operations (60%): Maintain and deliver an HRIS strategy; empower leaders to take an active role in staffing; create KPIs for performance management and engagement; implement and update compensation and performance management approaches to support pay equity and competitiveness; manage employee relations; ensure legal compliance and risk management; oversee benefits administration, payroll, and employee services; develop, review, and approve HR policies and procedures; consult with organizational leadership on talent acquisition, onboarding, and staff development; liaise with outside counsel/Compliance Office and with partners delivering benefits.Non-Essential Functions/Other duties as assigned (≤5%).Education and ExperienceMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration with an emphasis in ManagementFive (5) years at the senior leadership level (director or above)Seven (7) years of combined leadership and/or HR experience; or equivalent education, experience, and trainingPreferred QualificationsICS emergency preparedness trainingClinical talent acquisition and compensation experienceExperience with governmental or quasi-governmental employmentRequired Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsSenior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) or Senior Certified Professional (SCP); may be obtained within 12 months of employmentKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesDeep knowledge of HR operations and HR strategiesStrong leadership, communication, and collaboration skillsCompliance with HR-related rules, policies, procedures, and best practicesUnderstanding of the organization’s business strategy and goalsContinued personal and professional developmentAbility to identify and deliver HR capabilities based on labor trendsAbility to set clear objectives, metrics, and reportingAttention to detail, teaching, problem-solving, organization, and communication skillsExperience with Microsoft O365 and HRISAbility to interact effectively with all levels of the organizationAbility to build trust and conduct professional interactions with officials, the board, staff, and applicantsCustomer Service ExcellenceDoing things right the first timeMaking people feel welcomeRespect for customersAnticipating customer needs and concernsKeeping customers informedHelping and going the extra mileResponding quicklyProtecting privacy and confidentialityProper telephone etiquetteTaking responsibility for handling complaintsBeing professionalMaintaining a service-oriented attitudeSupervisionDirect Reports: 4 FTEPhysical Demands and Working ConditionsWork can be high-stress when dealing with delicate HR mattersWork is primarily at a computer in an office (about eight hours per day)Maintain a safe/secure working environment and apply safety, security, and health requirementsFreedom to Act & Decision MakingWork supervised by the CEODecisions affect the quality of services for more than 350 FTE, PRN, and part-time staffConsiderable leeway for independent judgment and initiativeCommunications & NetworkingConsult with executives and managers on employment issues such as strategic HR, employee relations, compensation, and performance managementCoach staff to balance organizational needs with employee needsPresent HR topics to leadership and board members to enhance understanding and applicationBudget & Resource ManagementDirectly responsible for the HR budget as part of the Administrative budgetHuman assets represent nearly $25M of RiverStone Health’s annual budgetConsult with leaders to manage staffing levels, compensation, benefits, payroll taxes, and related costsOversee costs related to ongoing organizational developmentSeniority level: ExecutiveEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Human ResourcesIndustries: Wellness and Fitness ServicesReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at RiverStone HealthGet notified about new Chief People Officer jobs in Billings, MT. #J-18808-Ljbffr
