AWS Infrastructure Supply Chain & Procurement (ISCaP) delivers technology solutions to source, build and maintain socially responsible data center supply chains. Join a team of professionals who enable the core sustainable infrastructure of AWS and help deliver results for the largest cloud services company on Earth.ResponsibilitiesLead the sourcing of integrated circuits and other sub-components for server platforms to meet growing infrastructure needs.Develop and implement cable and connector sourcing strategies for AWS hardware infrastructure.Understand interconnect industry and technology trends; identify key trends and drive supplier product roadmaps.Negotiate and implement complex supplier agreements and contracts with cross-functional stakeholders.Develop negotiation strategies to achieve business objectives and sustainable supplier relationships.Provide weekly core-team updates, deliver executive updates monthly, and manage vendor escalations related to the category.Present to senior leadership via written narratives.About the TeamYou'll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security professionals, and operations managers. AWS values bold ideas and an inclusive culture that empowers ownership and collaboration to deliver reliable cloud infrastructure at scale.Basic Qualifications5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience5+ years of professional or military experienceBachelor's degreeExperience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational levelExperience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedulesExperience in Electronics Sourcing or ProcurementExperience with managing or developing Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs)Preferred QualificationsExperience interpreting data and making business recommendationsExperience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreementsExperience with Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA), Server Integration, Server Architecture, or related Electronics AssembliesAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
