Days: Monday - Friday

Hours:  8:00 AM - 5:30 PM

The Regional Molecular Sales Director sets the overall direction and strategy of the Thyroseq sales team, aligns sales processes to meet and exceed the team's sales quota performance, and identifies new business opportunities in untapped markets to drive revenue and customer satisfaction.   

  • Create and implement TSQ sales strategy to achieve revenue and ensure the team achieves or exceeds sales targets.
  • Grow revenue by implementing marketing strategies and analyzing trends and results.
  • Perform day to day oversight and management of the sales team to meet organizational needs.
  • Track, analyze market trends, and present sales metrics to senior leadership.
  • Recruits, ensures ongoing organization development and training and development of direct reports
  • Provide leadership to members of the sales team while fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, high-performance and ethical behavior
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and industry developments to adjust strategies.
  • Establish sales objectives using forecasting tools and developing annual sales quotas for Molecular Consultant territories by projecting expected sales volume from new and existing clients.
  • Maintain sales volumes, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with the supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competition that exists within the laboratory industry and geography.
  • Establish and execute business development strategies to optimize the profitability of the business.
  • Leverage insights to expand into new markets and develop business opportunities.
  • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, internal teams and customers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product management, and customer service teams to tailor Sonic Healthcare USA’s test offerings to customer needs.
  • Set quarterly and annual goals and motivate teams to achieve their goals.
  • Review customer activity and anticipate clinician needs, and improve clinician and patient satisfaction.
  • Participates in sales calls with members of the Sales to acquired new business and/or close business.
  • Create CTS monthly reports and provide feedback to the leadership team and Divisional Presidents.
  • Identify important industry meetings to attend and set a budget to expand our national presence
  • Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of employee, patient, client and/or company records and issues.
  • Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners and to develop key relationships.

In this role, you will:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (MBA or other advance degrees preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive sales experience in a high-growth environment
  • Proven track record of leading and scaling sales teams across multiple regions and territories
  • Experience creating and implementing sales training programs 
  • Experience with clinical laboratory sales, marketing, customer service or finance.
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategies and tactics, sales techniques, product demonstration, and sales control systems
  • Excellent in areas of critical thinking, analytical skills and interpersonal relationships.
  • Knowledge of and insight into market trends, with an ability to think strategically
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team
  • Have a hands-on work style, be a team player, and always willing to roll up your sleeves to get the job done
  • Ability to build and nurture relationships  with both internal and stakeholders and external clients
  • Adaptable to changing market conditions and proficient in pivoting strategies when necessary
  • Results-.driven with a focus on business growth and profitability
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with employees, physicians, clients, and vendors
  • Proficient in analyzing sales performance data and using insights to optimize strategies, ensuring sound decision-making
  • Strong Proficient with Microsoft software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
