JOB SUMMARY: The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing highly diversified duties including installations, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintaining production and facility equipment according to predictive and preventive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the company’s business goals and objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Electrical maintenance
* Plumbing maintenance
* Crane inspections
* Daily PH analysis
* Daily tow motor logs
* Machine maintenance
* Safety and housekeeping
* Other duties as requested, directed, or assigned by the Supervisor
MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
* A High School diploma, or equivalent, is preferred
* Industrial maintenance experience preferred
* Knowledge of drawings, blue prints, and technical documents
* Basic skills in machine maintenance and new installation wiring
* Basic understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanics is a plus
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
* Regularly required to stand, bend, reach, and move about the facility
* Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE):
* Required to use safety glasses, hearing protection, and wear safety-toed shoes
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
* Plant environments such as noise, dust, odors, and fumes
* Exposed to any number of elements, but none present to the extent of being disagreeable
* Excessive heat in the summertime
Job Type: Full-time
