Job DescriptionAssemblers are responsible for the assembly, sub-assembly, and testing of all products to quality specifications and tracking the timely progress and completion of work orders. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:Perform assembly and sub-assembly of products based on standard work instructions and mechanical blueprints on an adjustable height table using hand tools and/or power tools Test products using measuring tools such as a calipers, and a testing cage for electronic components as needed Reworking products that do not pass testing standards, including disassembly and reassembly followed by additional testing Track progress and completion of work orders and associated scrap in the ERP system Use an overhead assist/lift to move larger parts and/or products to or from work bench Pack finished product into boxes on pallets For This Role, You Will Need: High School Diploma, GED, or demonstrated ability to read, write, and perform mathematical calculations at a high school level Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 30lbs Ability to carry objects; perform dynamic activities including reaching and stretching; and frequent bending and twisting of the torso WORKING CONDITIONS: Typical shop floor with possible exposure to dirt, dust, fumes, heat, cold, noise, vibration, oil and water. May be exposed to any number of these elements.
