Associate Attorney

Permanent Associate Attorney Base Pay Range: $85,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year Location New Jersey and New York (Bar admission required in both states) About the Role We are seeking a dynamic, passionate, and dedicated Permanent Associate Attorney to join our prestigious law firm. Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, and settlement agreements. Represent clients in court, presenting evidence to defend clients or argue against the opposition. Negotiate settlements in a timely manner while ensuring the most favorable outcome for our clients. Provide clients with sound legal advice on a broad range of issues, ensuring they understand their rights, obligations, and legal options. Collaborate with the legal team to develop case strategies and prepare for trials. Maintain an in-depth understanding of state and federal laws, court procedures, and legal precedents relevant to our practice. Exhibit a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all work. Qualifications Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school. Admission to the New Jersey and New York State Bars. Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil litigation. Exceptional legal research and writing skills. Proven experience in negotiating settlements and providing legal advice. Advanced communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to represent clients effectively in court and in negotiations. Advanced organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Extreme attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring all legal documents are prepared and reviewed thoroughly. Proven ability to resolve complex litigation issues.
