Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team in a dynamic and patient-focused environment. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients and will contribute to a multidisciplinary team dedicated to enhancing patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical and cognitive abilities to develop individualized treatment plans.

- Design and implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to improve patients' functionality, mobility, and overall well-being.

- Provide patient care in a Long Term Acute Care Hospital.

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, speech therapists, and physicians, to ensure coordinated care.

- Utilize physiology knowledge to develop and implement treatment plans that address patients' unique needs and goals.

- Manage patient cases, including documenting patient progress, updating treatment plans, and communicating with patients and families.

- Educate patients and their families on self-care techniques, strategies for daily living, and ways to adapt to their environment.

Experience:

- A Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.

- A current license to practice occupational therapy in the state of Georgia.

- At least 1 year of experience as an occupational therapist, with experience in hospital settings preferred.

- Strong knowledge of physiology and its applications to occupational therapy.

- Proven experience in patient care and case management.

- Familiarity with the use of speech therapy in occupational therapy interventions.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $43.17 - $45.32 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 20 per week
