North Oaks Health System in Hammond, LA has an immediate need for a GME Medical Director (Family Medicine). Qualifications of the program director must include specialty expertise and at least three years of documented educational and/or administrative experience, or qualifications acceptable to the Review Committee; must include current certification in the specialty for which they are the program director by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) or by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine (AOBFM), or specialty qualifications that are acceptable to the Review Committee;The program director must be eligible to be licensed to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana and be appointed in good standing to North Oaks Medical Center and North Oaks Rehabilitation Hospital Medical Staffs.The program director has authority and accountability for the operation of the program and has broad responsibilities that encompass every aspect of postgraduate medical education training.
