Opportunity Details: Psychiatrist Job Opportunity at Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health in Washington, DCThe newly built Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center, located in Washington, DC, is seeking a full-time Psychiatrist to join our team of dedicated professionals. This is a full-time, employed physician position with a Monday Friday work schedule. The psychiatrist will provide care in adult inpatient services and consultative liaison coverage.Key Responsibilities:Admissions and discharges of patients in the inpatient setting.Daily patient care management for an assigned caseload.Consultations across various hospital departments.Collaboration with Emergency Department Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs), GWU Residents, and Medical Students.The position offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary, benefits, and bonus incentives.Ideal Candidate:Board-Eligible or Board-Certified (BE/BC) in Psychiatry.Experience in working within a multidisciplinary team that includes Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Therapists, Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Care Coordinators, and Mental Health Workers.Required Qualifications:MD/DO degree from an accredited program.Board-eligible or certified in Psychiatry.Licensure to practice in Washington, DC or ability to obtain licensure.At least 4-5 years of training or relevant experience in Psychiatry.Meets all credentialing criteria for physicians.Competitive Compensation Package Includes:Competitive full-time salary.Malpractice insurance coverage.Paid Time Off (PTO).Matching 401k.Continuing Medical Education (CME) package and free tuition.Health insurance coverage.Relocation package (if needed).Sign-on bonus.About Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center:Located in Ward 8 on the St. Elizabeth s East Campus, near the Congress Hights Metro Station in Washington, D.C., Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center, part of The George Washington University Hospital is a 136-bed acute care facility and a tertiary care academic institution.
