Our client is looking for a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join their team in Augusta, GA. This role is essential for fostering a positive work environment, ensuring employee satisfaction, and managing all aspects of human resources and benefits within the organization.


Responsibilities:

  • Meet regularly with team members to address concerns, provide support, and foster a positive work culture
  • Develop and deliver training programs as needed to enhance employee skills and knowledge
  • Oversee and manage the company's benefits package, ensuring it remains competitive and meets employee needs
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date company team member records in compliance with legal requirement
  • Manage the onboarding process for new team members, ensuring a smooth transition into the company
  • Facilitate the off-boarding process for departing employees, including exit interviews and necessary paperwork
  • Stay current with HR laws and regulations, ensuring company compliance
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with management on strategic HR initiatives and company culture
  • development


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in HR
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus but not required
