Description Oneida Technology Services (OTS) has an immediate opening for a Senior Network Operations Engineer in the LA Airforce Base in California. Key Responsibilities Maintain and repair legacy wired solutions in response to network faults, errors, incidents, and problems. Provide touch labor for all network devices. Oversee monitoring of network assets per SLAs. Supervise break/fix and maintenance activities. Ensure maintenance of multiple network enclaves, primarily consisting of Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls with support for other vendor products. Adapt to emerging technologies as they are introduced to the environment. Apply extensive experience and technical knowledge of both Enterprise and Data Center networks in addition to network security technologies. Work with DMVPN technologies, EIGRP, BGP, and emerging data center architectures, including experience with network automation technologies. Troubleshoot complex problems to closure. Provide technical expertise and leadership for enterprise network infrastructure at the Network Operations Center. Perform site surveys, configuration and engineering, installation planning, and documentation services for customers related to all network services. Analyze network protocols, routing standards and procedures, traffic patterns, and data flow. Communicate clearly and succinctly, both written and orally, and present products and ideas in a business?like manner. Requirements Minimum Qualifications Technical BA/BS with a minimum of 7 years performing as a Network Engineer on large, complex programs. High School diploma or associate degree with a minimum of 10 years performing as a Network Engineer on large, complex programs. Education & Experience Technical BA/BS with a minimum of 7 years performing as a Network Engineer on large, complex programs. High School diploma or associate degree with a minimum of 10 years performing as a Network Engineer on large, complex programs. Specific Skills Experience with DoD IT security requirements. Experience supporting DoD projects, specifically network modernization projects. Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio). Preferred ITIL v3 or ITSM experience. CCNA. Juniper. Certifications DoD 8570 IAT III Baseline Certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or CCNA-SEC or equivalent). CCNP, CCDP, or equivalent.
