Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CT Technologist to join our team at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of technical procedures, including CT scans, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans and other imaging procedures to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
  • Position patients for procedures and ensure their safety and comfort
  • Operate imaging equipment and maintain it in good working order
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide excellent patient care
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiology Technology
  • ARRT Radiography and Computed Tomography certifications
  • Basic Life Support certification
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Radiology, with preference given to those with experience in CT
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of anatomy and pathology as it relates to imaging procedures
