We seek that rare combination of a solid coding background, a proven track record of applying technologies at scale, and a willingness to challenge the status quo and raise the bar on every service and feature we build.ResponsibilitiesDeliver Results and Bias for action matter. Own, build, develop and lead the technical components of a business critical initiative to design, develop, launch and maintain advertising solution(s) and service(s) that enables advertisers with simplified AI-powered advertising offerings.Work closely with a Principal Engineer and Scientists to advance the technical strategy of engineering and science teams.Basic Qualifications3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experienceExperience programming with at least one software programming languagePreferred Qualifications3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experienceBachelor's degree in computer science or equivalentAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market.
