German Payroll Specialist role at CloudPay About the Role We are looking for a skilled German Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full German payroll process, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant payroll execution. This role requires a deep understanding of German labour laws, tax regulations, and payroll systems to ensure the smooth operation of payroll activities. Main Responsibilities Deliver payroll accurately and provide timely payment of employee salaries on line with client service level agreements. Establish, update, and maintain payroll records and analyze payroll-related information to ensure accuracy in line with German legislation. Prepare and submit statutory declarations for authorities. Complete controls and cross-checking on payroll results. Reconcile pre-processing reports to ensure the accuracy of information before processing payroll. Research discrepancies in payroll information and/or documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to procedures before processing. Assist in the validation of payroll requirements to ensure sufficient information is provided by the client to enable set‑up and continued accuracy of payroll processing, ensuring smooth and compliant payroll operations. Maintain payroll information, files, and records to provide an up‑to‑date reference and audit trail for compliance. Prepare regular and ad‑hoc payroll reports, handle special client requests. Partner with Implementation Consultants to ensure successful knowledge transfer between Project Delivery and Operations. Required Experience & Skills Experience in German payroll processing. Fluency in German and English language skills. Excellent organizational and multi‑tasking skills to meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Word.
