Certified Nursing Assistant Trainee (CNAT)STARTING RATE: $15.85/hr., once Certified you will go to $16.83SHIFT: Full-time and Part-time, and Every other weekend** Currently accepting applications for those available to work7AM to 3PM, 3PM - 11PM and 11PM 7AM after training. Both Full/Part Time shifts**Benefits:Weekly PaychecksSame-Day Pay OptionsHealth, Dental, Life InsuranceReferral Bonus up to $500/referralTuition AssistanceRetirement/Pension/401kClinically Complex PositionsFlexible SchedulesJOB DESCRIPTION:A Certified Nursing Assistant Trainee performs various basic duties necessary to the operation of the nursing department in support of nurses and nursing assistants. Actively participating in the State approved 100-hour Nurse Aide Training Program or have completed the program and are waiting to take the clinical and written evaluations.RESPONSIBILITIES:Demonstrates knowledge of age-specific developmental factors specific to adult and geriatric residents (i.e., physical, cognitive, and socialization factors) in planning care deliveryAttends all mandatory in-services by employee's anniversary dateActs appropriately under the direction of the In-service Coordinator or Charge Nurse and acts as an active member of the interdisciplinary teamDemonstrates ability to adjust to changes in units/shift assignments to meet resident and facility needsDemonstrates knowledge of and complies with the Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program when performing work functionsREQUIREMENTS:Minimum 18 years of ageNo findings or convictions of resident abuse, mistreatment, and misappropriation of propertyStrong written and verbal communication skillsAble to follow written and verbal instructions and work well with and show respect towards fellow staff members, physicians, residents, and family membersCaring and compassionate bedside mannerRespect for residents' privacy and rights; display of genuine concern for the elderlyAble to perform tasks while upholding high standards of quality, cleanliness, and kindnessPhysical endurance for frequent activity; ability to lift a minimum of 20 poundsAPPLY ONLINE OR SEND YOUR RESUME TO: Garden Gate Health Care FacilityAttn: David Carrdcarr@mcguiregroup.comABOUT US:The McGuire Group is a portfolio of six health care facilities in New York state, including: Autumn View Health Care Facility in Hamburg; Brookhaven Health Care Facility in East Patchogue; Garden Gate Health Care Facility in Cheektowaga; Harris Hill Nursing Facility in Williamsville; Northgate Health Care Facility in North Tonawanda and Seneca Health Care Center in West Seneca.
