Job Description: Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician for our client in Portland, OR that manufactures and ships liquids for the semi-conductor industry. The successful candidate will support the Facilities Maintenance team by performing general maintenance tasks on plant facilities, systems, and equipment in accordance with safety regulations. Your duties will include preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, troubleshooting, and assisting with installations.




Shift: Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm

Pay: Tech I $27-30/hr




Facilities Maintenance Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventive maintenance on facilities, equipment, and mechanical systems.
Record and analyze maintenance data to diagnose and resolve issues.
Inspect parts for defects and order replacements as needed.
Test machinery operation and troubleshoot malfunctions.
Coordinate with other departments to minimize production disruptions.
Assist with facility installations and capital projects.
Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities.
Promote and maintain a safe working environment.
Assist in training operators and technicians.




Facilities Maintenance Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED.
Knowledge of general facility maintenance practices and safety standards.
Experience with PLCs and basic troubleshooting.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Previous experience in hazardous chemicals manufacturing preferred.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Hazardous Materials Technician certification required.
Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks and work in various conditions.




Facilities Maintenance Preferred Qualifications:

Associate degree or certification in Facilities Maintenance Technology.
Training in UPW/RODI/WWT operations.
Familiarity with semiconductor clean room standards.
Knowledge of OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) standards.




Facilities Maintenance Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift, carry, and perform various physical tasks.
Manual dexterity, good hearing, and visual acuity required.
