Job Summary:

Assists in the operations of the EWCH Hospitalist Practice. The Hospitalist Coordinator is a member of the Hospitalist team who is responsible for assisting Management in the delivery of care to the hospitalized patient. The Hospitalist Coordinator works closely with the EWCH Leadership Team, Hospitalist physicians, and Medical Center to support their work in driving performance of the hospitalist team. This position does not involve providing direct patient care. The Hospitalist Coordinator reports to the EWCH Director of Operations/Associate Chief Nursing Officer.

Education:

Required:

High School Graduate or equivalent.

Preferred:

College education in health care field

Experience:

Required:

1-2 years Healthcare customer service in a hospital setting

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Advanced knowledge of MS Excel

Preferred:

2-3 years hospital or physician group experience

Department Position Summary:

Assists in the operations of the EWCH Hospitalist Practice.
