Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Power Platform Developer to design, develop, and integrate data-driven applications and solutions using Azure Power Platform tools and Microsoft SQL Server. The role requires advanced expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, DataVerse, and SQL Server. Candidates must possess strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

This position is focused on leveraging industry best practices to develop applications and data integrations while documenting and sharing knowledge with the onsite team. The ideal candidate will have experience with three-tier application architectures and all phases of the SDLC.

Scope of Work

Plan, develop, document, and share knowledge using Azure Power Platform tools.
Design and develop three-tier application architectures and optimize SQL Server databases.
Collaborate with teams to enhance existing applications and deliver transformational projects.

Daily Duties and Responsibilities

Application Development:

Design and develop solutions using Power Automate (Flow), Power Apps, Power BI, and other Office 365 tools.
Implement custom solutions with Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, and Power Apps Portals.

Data Integration:

Develop and optimize integrations with Office 365, SharePoint Online, and MS Dynamics.
Use and create custom connectors for Power Apps and Power Automate.
Debug and enhance SQL Server stored procedures and scripts.

Documentation and Design:

Develop solution documentation including flowcharts, layouts, and diagrams.
Ensure adherence to best practices for application security and version control.

Collaboration:

Work closely with business analysts, QA testers, project managers, and stakeholders.
Support asynchronous development patterns and large-scale production system implementations.

Additional Responsibilities:

Assume additional tasks as required.
Proactively identify improvements to existing applications and recommend solutions.

Required Skills

Power Platform Expertise:

Power Apps (Canvas, Model-Driven Apps, Portals), Power Automate, and Power BI.
Data Management Gateway (DMG) and Microsoft DataVerse.

Integration Development:

Proficiency with Office 365, SharePoint Online, and MS Dynamics.
Experience with multiple OOTB Connectors and creating custom connectors.

SQL Server Development:

5+ years of SQL Server development experience, including writing Transact-SQL scripts and stored procedures.

Web Development:

Expertise in JavaScript, jQuery, Web Services, REST, JSON, CAML, HTML5, and CSS3.
Understanding of asynchronous development patterns.

Enterprise Architecture:

5+ years of large-scale enterprise system architecture and implementation experience.

Interpersonal Skills:

Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proven ability to lead and collaborate in dynamic environments.

Preferred Skills

Developing Azure integrations to AWS via RESTful APIs.
Experience with Azure Logic Apps.
Knowledge of Work Management and Call Center systems.
Familiarity with Medicaid eligibility and enrollment systems.
Hands-on experience managing large transformational projects and leading organizational change.

Education and Certifications

Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related program (equivalent experience may substitute).
Preferred: Master’s degree in Computer Science with an emphasis on data science/modeling.

Required Certification:

MCSE: Productivity Solutions Expert.

Preferred Certification:

Microsoft Certified Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400).

Soft Skills

Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written formats.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working in a high-pressure environment.
