In 2018, Fives achieved sales of $2 billion with a team of close to 8,500 employees and a network of over 100 operational units in over 25 countries.Summary:The position is responsible for the operation of one or more types of computer numeric controlled production equipment. Selects appropriate tooling, program, settings, holding tight tolerances and make adjustments, as necessary.Job Responsibilities: Read blueprints, engineering plans to set up machinery and prepares each job in accordance with the order, verbal, and written instructions. Verifies accuracy of machined work against blueprints/drawings. Adjust program and tooling as needed to achieve specifications. Plans proper sequence of tasks to complete assignments. Identifies need for and performs machine maintenance and minor repairs. Self-starter and works with little or no supervision. Responsible for minor preventative maintenance on all equipment.Knowledge: Must have experience with Haas CNC machinery and Master Cam 2020 or greater. Experience reading and interpreting blueprints. Ability to work with a diverse team environment and communicate effectively. Ability to follow all safety protocols. Education/Experience:High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and preferred three to five years related experience and/or training.Qualification Requirements:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the duties satisfactorily.
