PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Minnetonka Public Schools has elementary choir programs for children in grades 4-6. The choir meets to practice one day a week after school from September through May, with public performances. This position serves as the piano accompanist for the Grades 4-6 choir, during rehearsals and concerts.

ASSIGNMENT DATES:
September 2024-May 2025

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS:
The Grades 4-6 choir practices one day a week on Wednesdays for 1.5 hours (time TBD yet) at Clear Springs Elementary

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Demonstrated excellence in technical and expressive aspects of piano playing.
2. Evidence of piano accompanying skills, including the ability to follow the conductor.
3. Demonstrated ability to be flexible, dependable, and work a varied schedule.
4. Experience of successful experience working with school age students.

COMPENSATION:
$2,574 Stipend
