Industrial Maintenance Technician - Altium PackagingIndustrial Maintenance TechnicianWork Shift InformationShift: 8hr-3rd Shift (United States of America)Hours: 3rd shift: 10:30pm-7:00amPay: $24.00 per hour with a $1.00 shift differentialAs a fully competent Industrial Maintenance Technician, incumbent will perform repairs, preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, plant blow mold equipment and facility. They are also responsible for following our company's Good Manufacturing Practices.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agenciesInstall, adjust and repair blow mold, trimmers, palletizer and other related equipmentPerform mold, neck tooling changes, pin and other equipment changesInspect and replace pneumatic and hydraulic hosesInspect, rebuild and replace valves and pumpsPerform preventive maintenance on all related equipmentMaintain machines in optimal processing conditionWeld, fabricate, and repair various machinesTroubleshoot, locate root problems and repair blow mold, baggers & support equipmentMay operate blow mold or injection machinesCommunicate with other departments on a frequent basisDuties may differentiate by plant based on equipment and plant designReceives instructions on specific job task by Lead Industrial Maintenance Technician or SupervisorOther duties as assigned by managementAssistance is furnished on unusual problems and work is reviewed for application of sound professional judgmentReasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.QualificationsMinimum Requirements:Basic mathematical skillsBasic computer skillsBasic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulicsExcellent attention to detailPreferred:2+ years maintenance experience, specifically in the manufacturing industryHigh School diploma, GED, or equivalent educationOSHA Forklift certificationPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Temperatures inside the plant can fluctuate between hot and cold according to seasonal changes.
