Engagement Manager – Consumer Goods Practice OC&C Strategy Consultants seeks an Engagement Manager to join our Consumer Goods Practice, working in both New York City and Boston offices. The role focuses on delivering strategy solutions to leading consumer goods clients, from breakthrough brands to established industry leaders. Base Pay: $195,000 – $218,000 per year, plus performance-based bonus. Other compensation details provided upon request. What You'll Do Lead the delivery of consulting projects, managing work streams and teams of 3–6 consultants. Drive demand for repeat business through delivery excellence and strong client relationships. Collaborate with partners to generate business development opportunities. Participate in business development activities and client presentations. Qualifications At least 5 years of strategy consulting experience, including roles within consulting firms or in‑house strategy departments. Outstanding track record of achieving and exceeding objectives. Experience managing work streams and teams. Proven ability to build successful relationships at senior executive and board level. Experience in consumer goods preferred, but not required. Desired Abilities Hypothesis- and issue-driven approach to complex strategic problems. Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Effective team manager with a pragmatic, enthusiastic, and structured style. Integrity, honesty, and respect for diversity and inclusion. Cultural awareness and the ability to relate well to clients and colleagues at board level.
