Description: Job Title: Medical Assistant - Pain ManagementJob Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our pain management team. The ideal candidate will support healthcare professionals in providing high-quality care to patients experiencing pain. This role involves a combination of clinical and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our practice.Key Responsibilities:- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures- Take and record patient medical histories and vital signs- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and organization- Schedule patient appointments and manage follow-up care- Perform basic laboratory tests and assist with diagnostic procedures- Educate patients on treatment plans and medication management- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulations- Handle patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service- Collaborate with the healthcare team to improve patient outcomesSkills and Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a medical assistant program preferred- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) is a plus- Strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to careWe offer a supportive work environment and opportunities for professional growth.
