Guthrie Lourdes is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its Guthrie Binghamton Pennsylvania Avenue-Orthopedics team.
As a Guthrie Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you play an important role in caring for our patients while acting as a patient advocate and collaborating with physicians and advanced practice providers, as well as Guthrie Specialists throughout the strong referral Network.
Highlights of the Position
- Responsibilities
- A full time fast-paced position that includes clinical outpatient assessments, initial and follow-ups, inpatient rounding and surgical assists in the OR.
- Implementing treatment plans at the direction of orthopedic surgeon.
- Prescribing medications and treatments.
- Providing patient education and counseling.
- First call shared equally among all APPs in the practice.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Comprehensive Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive Salary range starting at $115,000, depending on experience.
- Paid Call coverage shared equally with other APPs in the Practice.

- Qualifications
- Current license in New York State.
- Master's degree in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program. Certification as a RNFA required for Nurse Practitioner candidates.
