Johnson Controls is looking for a Skilled Assembler for our 2nd Shift team. This role will work on new and rebuild assembly of Frick and other manufactured compressors Lots of room for advancement In this role you will: Dismantle compressors with the proper tooling such as hand tools, power tools (pneumatic and electrical equipment), 100 - Ton Press, Oxygen acetylene torch, to determine the root cause of the compressor failure, and report to supervisor.Design and Fabricate methods to safely dismantle locked compressorsUsing the proper measuring devices, check compressor components for wear and for improperly machined surfacesEnsure accurate fitting and complete alignment of parts to provide a properly functioning compressor that can pass all test requirements.Follow sales orders and or blueprintsQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalencyStrong mechanical knowledgeExperiece operating forklifts, overhead crane, or electric pallet jack preferred, but not requiredPay starts at $28.04 plus shift premium while on 2nd Shift (2pm to 10pm)This role will complete training on 1st shift 6am to 2pm for up to 90 days.
